What is Primer Cero?
A transdisciplinary work bringing together dance, science and technology,
Primer Cero challenges a social structure that no longer emphasises questions presumed to have been answered: where do we come from? Who are we? Why are we here?… Delving into such essential questions could be a step towards free reflection beyond established doctrines.
Primer Cero embraces the body as its raw material because, when seeking answers, our
most intrinsic reference begins with the body itself. The body is the fundamental unit of every interpretation and experience of the universe; in that sense, it becomes an object of study that places all branches of human knowledge on an equal footing.
As a project, Primer Cero has encountered different environments and been exposed to criticism from professionals in various fields. This has helped improve each stage of its conception, define the tools needed to produce it, and identify both the opportunities and weaknesses the project presents.
